Day trip to Berber Villages & Ourika Valley
Your day trip will start by a pickup from your Riad or Hotel in Marrakech heading towards the heart of the Atlas Mountains at the fertile Ourika Valley.
Along the way, you will enjoy the view of the terrain lined with flat, spiky cactus and eucalyptus trees, Ourika valley is known by its Sti Fadma waterfalls, that makes it one of the most interesting places worth a visit where you can escape from the heat and hustle of the red city of Marrakech.
Once you arrive at Ourika valley you can take the service of a local guide, for a hiking trip to discover the waterfalls for a couple of hours, admiring also the view of the flat Berber houses which are assembled in stacked villages made of the same red earth that they merge into, as for lunch you will find in the village of Arhbalou many restaurants along the valley where you can sit, relax and enjoy your meal.
The village of T’nin Ourika is the vibrant center due to its local Markets and it is famous for its Monday Market, where you will have the opportunity to explore some of the Moroccan handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will return back to Marrakech and get dropped off at your accommodation.
